Case study—Martell Hunter Interiors

Sussex-based interior designers

Martell Hunter Interiors is a testament to Sussex's rich design heritage—a family-run furniture store deeply rooted in local tradition. The brand needed an identity to honour its traditional service while speaking to contemporary design sensibilities.

Our design approach emerged from a nuanced understanding of the brand's core identity. The stag symbol became a powerful visual metaphor—representing the brand's deep local roots and timeless elegance characteristic of West Sussex design traditions.

The typography was carefully selected to communicate traditional craftsmanship. Gold foil patterns and embossed elements added layers of sophistication, creating a subtle dialogue between heritage and contemporary design.

The repeated gold foil pattern serves as more than a decorative element. It becomes a visual language that translates traditional service into modern contexts, demonstrating the brand's ability to bridge different design eras.
